It is located 3 miles north of Chassell on US 41 and 5 miles south of Houghton. The cottage sits overlooking Portage Lake and offers a scenic view of sunrises and sunsets over the water. The cottage offers year round accommodations for up to four individuals. High Speed Wireless Internet is available. The cottage is located just 30 feet from the lake and has access to a dock. There is great fishing in this area. The water is great for swimming, sandy and shallow for a long distance. The deck overlooks the lake and has a gas grill for your pleasure. It also has a quaint French table and chairs for your picnic pleasure. There is a fire pit on the premises near the cottage to have a campfire if you so desire with ample kindling and wood to keep you cozy.
