Four Seasons Cabin on a Lake is conveniently located so you can enjoy the many attractions and recreational activities in the area. The Western Entrance to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Grand Island, Lake Superior, and area boat tours are just 10 minutes away in Munising.
The Four Seasons Cabin is a cozy and very clean 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage, on a Lake perfect for swimming, fishing and water sports! The cabin is approximately 1,000 square feet and is roomy enough for up to 8 guests. The cabin is smoke free and able to accept well behaved dogs for an additional fee. The cabin sits on a 1.2 acre lot, one of the largest on this lake and has a panaramic view. There is a sandy beach for little ones to build castles, swimming and water fun. There is a sand volleyball court beside the house for a game or two.
The Master bedroom has one Queen size bed, bedside table and reading lamp, closet, dresser and a private entry to outside. The Loft has one Queen size bed, one Double size bed and twin size beds, a dresser and box fans for the windows. The bathroom has a shower, towels, included
The fully furnished cabin has a wonderful view of the lake with a wood burning fireplace, TV with a few channels, Dvd Player (bring your movies for rainy days!) and a stereo with speakers hooked into the screened porch! The complete kitchen has a microwave, coffee pot, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, basic spices, full refrigerator, stove and oven.
There is a screened in porch for relaxing and enjoying the view of the lake and the Hiawatha National Forest or reading that new book. There is also a table and chairs for additional dining.
The deck on the side of the house has outdoor furniture with a Charcoal grill for a delicious barbeque and a fire pit for your evening campfires. Sit around the bonfire and look at the starlit sky or roast some hot dogs or marshmallows. A generous supply of firewood is provided. Don't feel like cooking? The Buckhorn Restaurant and Lounge is only 5 miles away.
Get ready for some fun at the lake. Bring your water toys and enjoy the sand swimming beach and long dock for sunning. The all sports lake is great for waterskiing, tubing, canoeing, and great fishing. You might catch northern pike, musky, bass, perch, or some panfish for a wonderful meal.
Enjoy all the recreational opportunities the area has to offer. Mountain bike trails nearby and miles and miles of hiking trails will take you to some very scenic sites. There are many nearby waterfalls and lighthouses to see. Scuba dive in Munising Harbor, go canoeing, kayaking, or golf at the Munising Golf Course. Lots of public forest land for hunting.
The Munising area, the Hiawatha National Forest, and the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore have outstanding fall color and the Four Seasons Cabin in a good central location for some day trips to see the brilliant color.
Alger County has outstanding snow and Four Seasons Cabin is right on the trail so you can sled right from the door. Trails lead throughout the entire Upper Peninsula. Garage available for your snowmobile. Gas at the Buckhorn Restaurant and Lounge only 5 miles away. Snowmobile rental in Munising. Groomed cross country ski trails are nearby and ice caves to explore.
