Hubbard Lake is a large inland lake in Michigan, named for Dr. Bela Hubbard who first surveyed the area along with Dr. Douglass Houghton in 1850. The lake spans three townships in Alcona County: Caledonia, Alcona, and Hawes. Hubbard Lake is a small, unincorporated community about one mile north of the lake in Ossineke Township in Alpena County.
