Sault Ste. Marie offers lots of fun activities for families no matter the season. Mackinac Island and the June St. Ignace Car Show are just an hour South. Visit the Famous Soo Locks and take a tour through the locks with the Soo Locks Boat Tours. The Soo Locks Train Tours will take you sight-seeing around the twin Saults. Climb (or take the express elevator) to the top of the Tower of History and get a bird's eye view of the Locks and the city. Then visit the Valley Camp Maritime Museum or the River of History Museum in the Sault or check out the Shipwreck Museum in Whitefish Point. Visit "Fudgie Lane" and watch homemade fudge being made and try one of the many varieties. Take a trip across the International Bridge and see what our sister city Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario has to offer. The Agawa Canyon Tour is great way to see the beautiful fall colors. Tahquamenon Falls is just an hour trip to the West and is also a beautiful place to visit almost any time. Every February the Sault hosts the I-500 snowmobile races. Whatever the season, Sault Ste.
