Lakeside Getaway on Black Lake - Black Lake, Michigan

DESCRIPTION

Our Lakeside Getaway sits directly on the shores of beautiful Black Lake, a 4x6 mile, all-sports lake only minutes away from Cheboygan, Mackinac City, and other Great Lake destinations like Mackinac Island. Bright and cheery both inside and out. From the cottage's picture windows, watch the sunrise or view Black Mountain and the Black Mtn. Recreation Area just across the lake. Bring your boat and tie up at our dock, or rent a boat, jet-ski, or pontoon boat at Black Lake marina, only a few miles up the road. Swim from the shoreline, dock or anchored raft, or just toss in a line to catch perch, bass or bluegill. If you’re looking for bigger sport fish such as walleye, pike, trout or muskie, try your luck out in the lake's deeper parts. Our lake is known for its fishing! Right off our shoreline is one of the best places to catch perch, walleye and pike. We have had many fish-fries ourselves. Be sure to relax around our lakeside fire pit in the evenings and roast some marshmallows, then watch the moon rise over the water. Vacation Rental Amenities: Our cottage is newly remodeled with all the comforts of home. It features modern appliances (plus microwave, coffee maker, toaster and toaster oven) in the fully equipped kitchen, and includes a washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a comfy, queen-sized bed, and twin beds in the guest bedroom. There is a living room sleep sofa with a queen-sized Beauty Rest mattress. The enclosed sun porch is perfect for your kids' game playing, or relax in the mornings with your coffee for lake and loon watching. Sturgeon (we are the sturgeon capital of the world) have been known to "porpoise" out in the lake. And bald eagles roost and feed nearby. All cook wear and utensils are provided, plus the cottage has Dish TV with 60 channels and a DVD player. Brand-new bed and bath linens, plus blankets, are provided, plus our cottage features a roomy bathroom with tub and shower. Vacation Rental Rates: BOOK NOW FOR SUMMER 2007.
