Northern Escape Lodge & Cabin is a cozy wilderness retreat. Surrounded on all 4 sides by the Manistee National Forest, this is the place you've always wanted to find but ususally don't. Our authentic log lodge is opertated as a sportsmen's B&B. It is also a great couples weekend get away with all the services you would expect of a 5 star B&B. Beautifully decorated to reflect a time gone by with rich wood and leather furniture, guests enjoy our elegant rustic setting. The cozy log cabin has everything needed for a worry free stay. Flannel sheets, comforters, matching towels and all cooking supplies are included and within easy reach. No need to bring anything except the food you may wish to cook while at the cabin. We are located off US 10 between Baldwin and Ludington Michigan in a little village called Branch. Our Lake County is 48% Manistee National Forest so you can enjoy hiking, canoeing, hunting and fishing everyday of the week while enjoying the forested landscape. Lake Michigan's sugar sand beaches in Ludington are only 25 minutes away if you want to catch those unique and beautiful sunsets. Manistee's Little River Casino is a short 40 minute drive. If wine tasting or shopping is on your list of things to do, we have it all within easy reach. The world famous Pere Marquette River is teeming with salmon and steelhead. Flyfishermen come from all over the world to hook into a 'BIG' one. Lake County is also known as the Turkey County of Michigan so seeing one is not unususal anytime of year. Snowmobilers can access trails right out the front door or they can bring an ATV or ORV and use over 311 miles of trails within Lake Coutny.
