DESCRIPTION:
The Resort is located 20 miles south of Marquette, Michigan, on Farmer Lake next to Gwinn and 10 minutes from Sawyer International Airport. Farmer Lake is spring fed, 65 acres and has excellent fishing for Bluegills, Northern Pike, Croppies, Largemouth Bass and Walleye.
The seven cottages of the Resort are aranged in a semi circle around 300 feet of sandy beach. The use of our paddle boats, rowboats, canoes and kayaks is included with the cottage rental. Under our 1200 square foot pavilion is a popular local game, carpetball. We also have tetherball and basketball available.
Each cottage has its own outside deck, picnic table and BBQ. The cottages contain linens, towels, coffee maker, pots, pans, silverware, toaster, stove with oven, microwave, refrigerator, TV and wireless internet. Just bring your clothes, food and recreation/hobby items. Groceries, gas and post office are 3/4 mile away. Snowmobiliers and ATV'ers have easy access to trail number 8.
We host vacationers, family reunions, company picnics, wedding parties, fishermen and folks who enjoy swimming, boating, snowmobiling, picking blueberries, hunting, stargazing and sightseeing.
