This Charming Cabin is a year round Cottage with lake access to Millecoquin Lake. It comes with a very nice Garden Tub, 14' Fishing boat. (Motors can be rented.) Our Cabin is fully furnished (however: please note - some furnishings have been replaced). This darling Cabin is waiting for you and your family. Pack your bags and have the time of your life at this wonderful lake Cabin. Cost: By the week is $425, Per day is $75 (minimum of 3 nights, or by the Month (in off Season October 1 - April 30) is $850. For you snowmobilers, this is the place to be. Just minuets from State trails. In a wonderful - Central location, to have fun on sleds. For you snow skiers, just 1 hour to the nearest slops. For the water skiers, Millicoquin Lake is 1,062 square acres. This Lake is where most of our family learned how to water ski. For the fisherman, Millicoquin Lake is stocked with Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Rainbow Trout, Rock Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Sunfish, Walleye, and Yellow Perch. For the Historian, History is everywhere you turn. So many places to visit and so much adventure within miles. For the Photographer, Fall Colors are yours to enjoy. Take pictures at every turn. For the Golfer, Just 8 minutes away is the most gorgeous golf course with wild life abroad. For the R & R Person, Rest and relaxation all around. The natural beauty of the lower and upper Tahquamenon Falls; Big Springs (Kitch-iti-kipi), known to the Indians as the mirror of heaven; Seul Choix Lighthouse, Park and Museum, known locally as "The Haunted Lighthouse"; Mackinac Island; Sault Ste. Marie, MI (Soo Locks); the Seney National Wildlife Refuge ; Grand Sable Falls and Sand Dunes in Grand Marais and the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore; Fayette Historic State Park; Whitefish Point Lighthouse, the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, Whitefish Point Bird Observatory and Whitefish Point Underwater Diving Preserve; the GarLyn Zoological Park, outstanding fishing, snowmobiling (Snowmobile Rental in Curtis.) and relaxing. CANCELLATIONS: All changes or cancellations must be received by telephone and then by E-Mail to confirm. A Full refund less a $35 cancellation fee will be given as long as the notice of cancellation is no longer than 30 days of reservation stay date. If proper notice is not given as indicated, the deposit will be forfeited. If you have to change your reservation to a different date, that change must also be made prior to 30 days of reservation stay. REFUNDS: No refunds will be given due to weather conditions or for early departures. This property is privately owned and operated. Amenities, descriptions, furniture, etc. are subject to change without notice. Rice's Rental Cabin will not give refunds in the event of a mechanical failure or absence of any item, or for any public utility problem. No student groups, house parties or receptions are allowed in this cabin. If guest are found to be having a party, they will be asked to vacate the cabin and no refunds will be given. Personal Checks must Clear within 7 days of arrival A non-refundable Security Deposit of $50 is due immediately upon Scheduling. SALES TAX: Michigan Sales Tax will be added. PETS: Pets are permitted in rental home only with prior approval. $ 10.00 per pet fee applies. Hunting dogs can be kept in outside runs on premises. All pets must be on leashes at all times. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees. All pets must be up to date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. Heartworm preventative is highly recommended. All pets are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks are very rampant in this area and can cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets. All items above are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. The homeowners assume no responsibility for illness, injury, or escape that may incur to pets while on the premises. “Vicious or Dangerous Dogs” trained for dog fighting or with any tendency or disposition to attack any dog other domestic animals or humans without provocation, are not permitted at any time.
