Upper Peninsula Cabin & Cottage Rentals

Visitors to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula will need plenty of time to fully explore the area’s diverse and beautiful terrain. From waterfalls to lake shores, from mountain vistas to thick-forested trails, the Upper Peninsula is a nature lovers dream! The 384-mile-long peninsula stretches from Drummond Island in the east to Ironwood in the west and reaches 233 miles wide from Menominee in the south to Copper Harbor at the tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula in the north. The Upper Peninsula is home to Tahquamenon Falls located in the nearby Tahquamenon Falls State Park. The Tahquamenon are the one of the largest falls east of the Mississippi River and the 40,000 acre park surrounding them offers miles of trails perfect for hiking in the summer, spring and fall and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Another spectacular location is the Isle Royale National Park. This roadless park is only accessible by boat and float plane and provides an abundance of activities. Isle Royale has 165 miles of scenic hiking trails, here is excellent fishing, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks, ancient copper mining sites, and plenty of spots to observe wildlife. The hundreds of lakes and streams throughout the Peninsula mean there is never a shortage of fishing and boating. The many lighthouses along the 1,700-miles of shoreline are a great way to tour the entire area. There is the Seul Choix Point Lighthouse overlooking Lake Michigan, the Sand Point Lighthouse with its Maritime Museum, the Peninsula Point Lighthouse in the Hiawatha National Forest, Round Island Lighthouse on Mackinac Island and many more. These are just a handful of the many exciting places to visit. Select the city you wish to visit fron the list below.
