Wind Drift Resort is the only cabin resort on the Michigan side of Lac Vieux Desert. Our Wisconsin/Michigan fishing resort offers eight modern, fully-equipped, super clean, 1 to 4 bedroom cabins. Some cottages are handicap accessible. You can enjoy the relaxing level grounds, pristine sandy beach and the refreshing swim area, just feet from the front door of your cabin. Or get away from it all, sit, relax and enjoy the view on the end of our modern lighted dock system, complete with electric plug-ins.
Located just 20 miles north of Eagle River Wisconsin, home of the World Championship Snowmobile Derby, Wind Drift Resort offers some of the best fishing in northern Wisconsin. Lac Vieux Desert, a Wisconsin/Michigan boundary water, is the home of the World Record Tiger Musky. Walleye, Northern, and panfish also abound in this 4300 acre headwaters of the Wisconsin River. Ice fishing is fantastic just yards from warm, gas heated cabins, and a heated cleaning facility.
